In the Daily Lectionary (Treasury of Daily Prayer, Concordia Publishing House), the Psalmody selection just happens to be Psalm 37: 16-20:

Better is the little that the righteous has
    than the abundance of many wicked.
17 For the arms of the wicked shall be broken,
    but the Lord upholds the righteous.

18 The Lord knows the days of the blameless,
    and their heritage will remain forever;
19 they are not put to shame in evil times;
    in the days of famine they have abundance.

20 But the wicked will perish;
    the enemies of the Lord are like the glory of the pastures;
    they vanish—like smoke they vanish awa

We are now in the corona virus spread and it sure seems to be these verses are timely! And with the spread of the corona virus, the even greater spread of hoarding, with empty shelves in grocery stores prompted by the fear, Will we have enough? I have known this fear, may be you as well. Will we have enough not only in the “days of famine” but also in these days of pestilence? Yes and this is the Lord’s promise. Yes, it may be “little” but better that than the “abundance of many wicked”. Why? It is better to be right than wrong, sharing than hoarding, with the Lord and not in our fears. We are accounted blameless by the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and His Atonement, “the days of the blameless”. Seek His refuge.
