I think it was  Galileo who disproved the geocentric universe, that is, the center of the universe is the earth.  Actually, it is the Lord who disproves the geocentric universe, that we are the center of all things.  Yana Churikova  shouted nothing new.  This is as old as Adam, who with Eve bought the serpent’s lie that they could be “like God”, knowing good and evil,that is controlling it, as God.  We can’t. Not only a geocentric universe, but an egocentric universe with it.  Once we put ourselves in the center, all hell breaks loose.  Now, there is an utterly new center of the universe, marked by a cross, the ever crucified Savior who is ever more risen from the dead.  He inserted Himself bodily and spiritually, wholly and holy into the middle of all things: the gulags, the camps, our homes, our hearts, our Babylonian hearts.  

I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. Galatians 2:19-21
